Such fun! My only complaint is that the super intelligent cats should have had a larger role in saving the galaxy. Lost opportunity there.

Okay, so, a very decent space opera with evil behind-the-scenes mega-groups, a rogue-trying-to-do-right-drawn-into-one-last-job, found family, tons of aliens, but the found family getting-the-band-back-together vibe is kinda undermined by the fact that there's a guy in a pro wrestling ring that we just leave behind and don't even message to find out if he wants to rejoin the band. Maybe he's happy where he is! There's support for that theory! But not even a message?

DNF at page 72.

I wanted to like this, I went into it for the psychic cats. Unfortunately the psychic cats lasted one chapter.
The rest of it was a lot of profanities, talking about farts and just non stop action which would have been fine but so much had happened I didn't believe in the stakes being that high, regardless of being told that they were, I wasn't shown that.

I had high expectations after I read the blurb and wasn't disappointed.
I laughed a lot and enjoyed this book, well written and engrossing.
The psychic cats are my favorite characters in the book and I loved them.
A fun and engrossing read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I had high hopes for this book, although I do confess I judged it by its lovely cover.  It doesn't deliver, unfortunately.
