Just a short story tucked into the back of The Queen of Atolia.
As a story, it was lovely. The things that made it a wonderful treat were.
And THAT makes me very happy.

the snippets of engagement we see from Gen as King and Atolia interacting with him. Looks to me like Gen and Atolia are going to be just fine together, and Gen is going to be a thoughtful, kind, and kingly KingAnd THAT makes me very happy.

I felt like there was a lot of story in this, considering how short it was. Great example of how to create a story between volumes of a series, that's more than a vignette or missing scene.
Oddly, there's no mention on Goodreads of the short Wineshop, appearing in The King of Attolia.
