The story was really engaging, but I wish I read it instead of listening as an audiobook.

3.5 stars but rounded up for matching the genre

Yes, it's implausible and, sometimes, outrageous. But it's supposed to be that way! There were a few too many neat wrapups for my liking, but on the whole, a good addition to the suspense/thriller genre.
