I loved this book. But I kind of hated the break up, it felt too awkward. And the epilogue was sweet but I wish it was longer (barely 2 pages long). It didn't really seem like the ending was fully planned out.

My review in quotes"
From "How much do you hate me right now?"
To "How much do you like me right now?"
Ending with "How much do you love me right now?"
Beautiful story but the end leaves you wanting more in not a good way.

It takes you on a wonderful, emotionally challenging story, but the days after chapters kinda killed it for me. I wouldn't have minded them to much if the emotional parts follows through (by the end, Asher felt kind of hollow).

AWWWW I’m obsessed w them!!!
This is a super cute YA romance book. It's nothing overly special but if you liked Better Than the Movies (YA) or Love and Other Words (NA) I really think this will be a great quick read for you. Very summer vibes.

Confession: Lake Michigan in the summertime is my all-time favorite place in the world; so I was immediately hooked from page 1. I am a huge fan of a love/hate storyline and this had that and so much more. What I really love is the story is told from both Sidney and Asher’s points of view. It spans the whole summer and then a few months of college. Personally, I would love to see this story play out and have a book following the pair through their college years. The epilogue was only a page and I wanted more!

I received this book from Netgalley to read and review. For more thoughts, check out the Instagram account @BestsLoveBooks.

It was a solid 3.75, some parts were kind of boring and I kind of thought Sidney was annoying half the time, like why was she even like that haha
I really liked Asher he was just such a chocolate chip pancake

This was a good summery read. I liked the pranks and the lake. The ending seemed a little off though and I didn't like it that much once they went to school again.

this had some of the best banter i ever read, they were so cute. but i will say i kind of lost momentum about three quarters through but when they were apart in the last few chapters i was kind of in agony. like i felt a bit of an ache in my chest when he kept distancing himself from her.

this is like my dream dynamic - assuming i wanted to be in a relationship........ which i dont

ALSO WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED BETWEEN HIM AND JORDAN

This is cute. Really cute. I like the characters, the banter and the prank. It is not immature like many YA romance novel. Sydney and Asher have that romance where they practically spending summer vacation together. Both of them are competitive.

Their relationship from competitor turned into romance is cute and PG. Their conversation is cute. I wish I have a friend like Asher.

Really good read.
