I thought Woodward was objective in his writing about Trump in the White House. Even so, the American president still came across the page as a liar and a buffoon. He rarely reads, ignores briefs and stubborn in his outdated worldview. His staff was either fired or resigned due to the incompetence and chaos of his administration, therefore losing the few logical and reasonable people that could curtail Trump's dangerous ideas and orders. The current American president is completely clueless about governing and policy, he rather watches and plays golf - he obviously never wanted to be in charge in the first place, his campaign's only goal was to strengthen his brand so he could make more money. Can't wait for the end of the Trump reign and the era of the "Basket of deplorables".

Well, this was terrifying, but definitely worth the read, especially in Woodward's skilled hands. I think, with the Mueller investigation coming to a close soon, this will be even more necessary reading.

Written in an omniscient voice with unbelievable access - this is a funny until it's terrifying deep look into America's mistake.
