It was a nice book, it is a children's book of course but I think all of us could learn a thing or two from this one.
read more, raise your children to be gentle, and learn to listen.
lessons all of us could use really

After watching the new movie, and enjoying the first movie for many years, I decided I'd go back and read the books again. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a REALLY fast read, and very enjoyable. It's interesting to see what things they chose to use in the new movie vs. the old, and the story and characters are enjoyable in themselves.
I still like the Gene Wilder movie better, though. :D
