By far the best of the wax and Wayne series so far. The pacing felt really good, the story and world building that happened throughout the book remained interesting, and I really feel that I started enjoying all of the characters in this book. I hadn’t been fully sold on this series before reading Bands of Mourning, but I’m glad to say that I’m fully bought in.

Can’t wait to read Secret History and Lost Metal!

Probably my least favourite Sanderson book - raised more questions than it answered.

The first part of the book was reaally slow, for me, but as soon as I go to half of the book it became way better. All of the end of the book made the novel way more like the other books from Brandon Sanderson in comparison with the first and second from this saga. I would have given it more stars, but it was really hard to get to the good part
