Not a Patriots fan, but this was a great book! Benedict is a great author and tells a good story! Lots more respect for what Kraft, Belicheck, and Brady were have been able to accomplish!

Read this over the course of 3 days and didn’t want it to end. I especially loved how the author didn’t just rehash old stories that have been told before. Seeing the rise of Robert Kraft is an example of this. Reading about his meticulous plan to purchase the team on his terms was amazing.

Fascinating read that unfortunately made me re-evaluate my viewpoint on the Patriots in a more positive light. It’s informative and a brisk read mostly. The author keeps you engaged. Every so often there will be an event described that feels a little forced or out of place, but nothing that would disappoint. The author was at his best discussing Robert Kraft, and I feel as though this doubles as a Kraft biography. For that alone, it was worth the price of admission. Kraft is an interesting person, but so are Belichick and Brady (and Bill Parcells). Benedict does a good job weaving their stories in as well, and explaining the dynamic in the locker room. Overall a solid book.

You can love them, you can hate them, but there is no denying that their run was one of the greatest of all time. The owner coach quarterback combination that changed the face of the NFL. I really enjoyed seeing all the behind-the-scenes, especially about Kraft acquiring the team and his decision-making process behind personnel decisions. And loved the Brady stories!

This book was written for me, as a lifelong Patriots fan I thoroughly enjoyed reliving some of my favorite memories. 20 years, 9 Super Bowl appearances, 6 Super Bowl victories, the greatest owner, coach, and quarterback of all time, is there any doubt that this is the greatest dynasty ever?
