I really liked this one, and I was hooked the whole time. My only annoyance is that the narrators didn't discuss with each other what kind of Southern accent that Cooper should have, so everyone's accent for him was all over the place. But I'm excited to work through this series.

After reading The Cousins recently, I was inspired to go through the authors backlist of books.

This was such a great story that had so many layers! I will admit, I was a little nervous getting around to this very hyped book, but it was definitely worth it.

I never expected who would be the culprit in the 'whodunit' plot and I think it was executed really well.

The characters were fully dimensional and I was invested in all of their stories.
Nate really irked me in the last few chapters! I felt so disappointed by his decisions, it was just mean.

I think my favourite character was Bronwyn. They all had some really problems in there life but for some reason the internal and external pressures of being the perfect everything really hit me.

This was exciting, immersive, thrilling and had  lot of depth to reflect on the consequences of spiteful rumours and extremism and radicalisation within education.

The epilogue was so pointless. Other than that, this wasn’t a super memorable book for me. It definitely wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t super impressed. I’m glad that so many other people liked it though!

For the most part I enjoyed this book. I figured out the killer immediately but the book wasn't really about that, which I found enjoyable. I liked the constant change of narrator throughout, and the pacing at which information was revealed to the reader. It was intriguing and made for a great read.

I loved this book. It's full of plot twists and a massive one towards the end. I will recommend this to all my friends.
All the characters were always on the edge. I'm a bit sad that I will never read it for the first time again but the second time will be good.

An okay mystery that could’ve been better if there wasn’t so much character jumping. Some characters of course had more “airtime” and I wish I would’ve had more information about the characters that took a backseat. Also the old annoying romance trope of the “bad boy” falling for the “nerd” was so LAME and so obnoxiously obtuse that I was rolling my eyes half. Luckily, the ending was solid, unpredictable and believable, and I appreciated that most of the characters seemed to develop for the better.
