As far as textbooks are concerned, this book is excellent. It is easy to digest for someone who is new to the field of conflict, negotiation, and mediation. It gives relevant examples of how we are confronted with conflict every days and the ways that we can help manage that conflict more successfully. Personally, I believe anyone in a relationship should read this book because it brought to light things I do, or notice others do, and how those interactions could be handled more effectively.

This was required reading for my Conflict Resolution course. Overall, this textbook is well written and has many interesting concepts. I feel as though I learned quite a bit that I could adapt to my own life.
