It’s a cute read. The writing isn’t the best and I cringed during the sex scene where the author wrote that the fmc had great pleasure when mmc hit her cervix. Like ouch! Reads like a cheesy fanfic, so if you hate that, I would not recommend.

i am so sad!!! i waited so long for this and i wanted to love it SO BAD. but it was literally insta-love, no conflict, no plot. it felt like it was building up to this big conflict just for them to brush it off? the two main characters were cute so 2 stars for that but i literally feel like i read… nothing? there was just no direction. felt like a wattpad story almost? i don’t know! if you’re like really really into tropes, maybe this is for you! but i just needed more from the writing.

Witch, demon, and the cozy town of Pleasant Grove. This book gave me all the spooky and festive feelings of fall. Now, anytime I see a cute pumpkin I think of Willow! Thank you, Jennifer Chipman for the advanced copy, I couldn’t put it down. The tenderness, character dynamic, spice, and all the Halloween festivities!

It was a fun lighthearted read with some spicy scenes, and I think it’s perfect for getting you out of a reading funk because it worked for me!
