This was definitely a sweet read that was a nice break from my dark romance reads. I enjoyed the low angst and lack of miscommunication trope. I am for sure going to add Luna and Zain's book to my tbr.

This was such a CUTE book! I absolutely loved it. From start to finish I had the hugest smile on my face as I was reading. It gave me Halloweentown vibes mixed with smutty goodness. Definitely my type of read!
From the moment this book begins, Jennifer Chipman does such a great job at setting up the cutest lil spooky town vibes ever. I loved getting to know Willow, the town, its inhabitants, and how everything was run there. Hearing that Willow and her sister owned a little witch themed coffee shop with pumpkin flavored everything, hearing about the witches’ levitating powers, and how they get matched with their familiars was SO CUTE. Like I genuinely was making a lil sad pouty face as I read because I could not get over the utter cuteness of it all. It just made me feel so sucked into the book and into the spooky world of it all. It really is the perfect lil read for spooky time!
Getting to see Willow interact with Damien while he was in cat form was also adorable. I loved seeing how they were able to feel that bond with each other, even when he was still a cat. It was clear that they were meant to be together in some capacity early on, even as her possible familiar.
Then once Willow helped Damien return to his main form, it was incredible to see that connection between them get even deeper. I loved seeing how protective that Damien became of Willow, it was absolutely amazing. Damien is a 10/10 man all around. I thought the love story between them was both so heartwarming and so sexy. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing their love become so genuine and seeing the moment that they both realized they were in love. I was literally sobbing at the way Damien confessed his love to her and the sweet words that he said to her. I highlighted so many things that he said, they were just the most heartfelt words ever.
Then getting to see into the demon realm when they went there was so interesting and so much fun. I liked getting to learn more about Zain as well too, and I am very interested to see his love story with Luna in the next book! I will definitely be picking up the next book before spooky season is over!
Overall, I literally had such a fun time reading this book. I was so happy and excited to pick it up every single time that I did. I both read and listened to the audio and I just felt so immersed into the story every time that I was able to jump back into it. It truly put me in the spooky read spirit and just filled my heart with so much joy, cuteness, and appreciation. I rate this book 5/5 stars! 🌟

while i had a good time reading, this was just lacking something for me. i thought the premise was HELLA cute, of him being the cat she adopts. honestly, that part was so funny and cute. i just wanted more depth from the MCs, like more of their background and who they truly were. it felt like we only went surface level with them. i am excited, however, to read the next book between her sister and his brother. this was cute and fun, i just wanted a little more from the MCs.

Okay, a bunch of things in this book didn’t really make much sense, but it was really fun and cute, so I’d recommend it!
