I love that this book is very current and related to now, and I also love that the pandemic isn’t mentioned too much. This book was a lovely escapism read that has very much made me want to jet off on a plane to somewhere with sunshine

"Some people feel like a puzzle piece of the sky, or the grass. They aren’t really the focus of the puzzle but you’d soon notice if it wasn’t there.”

• The Little Blue Door •
After a world wide pandemic, Melodie has been filled with grief after losing both her loving grandparents who raised her from infancy. She wants to bring back some normalcy to her life and go back to Corfu, the beautiful Greek seaside town her grandparents used to bring her to when she was a child. Once she gets there she meets a charming man named Anton and his daughter Gaia, and as she starts to build a relationship with them fate has other plans, plans of the past and present colliding in a way you will not see coming!

• For his love of Corfu •
Anton's Parents announce their news to their children that they are leaving Corfu and moving to Englund, but Anton will do anything he can to stay behind, because he can't leave the beautiful Corfu or it's people behind.

I was given both these Novels by the wonderful author @francescacatlowofficial Thank you so much for sharing this story with me!
The Characters in this series were witty and relatable and fun to read about. The story line was beautiful and there was so much I didn't see coming. I didn't want The little blue door to end, I needed more, and I'm so glad i got to learn more about Anton and what made him tik in the Prequel!
I loved getting to know both the main characters at different times in their life and understanding the choices they made.
I give The little blue door series by Francesca Catlow ⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a lovely little book.

Such a touching and tragic story. I loved Anton and Melodies relationship and how they did not try to rush things.

The author really makes you invested in the characters with the depth of the writing.

Trigger warnings for domestic abuse, violence, death, cancer and infant death.

Do not be put off by the trigger warnings this is such a lovely book and so sympathetically written.

I throughly this book and I am so happy it is the first of a series.

I loved the setting, I feel the author gave such detail that you could really imagine you was there with Melodie, this is the perfect holiday read.

I loved seeing not only the romantic relationship develop, but also the other relationships which all tied in beautifully.

I can’t wait to return to Corfu and follow on from this book ❤️

I can see where the writing during lock down has inspired The Little Door. I can relate to Melodie . Corfu and Melodie what can I say. Within the frist chapter she was pulling at my heart strings. This book deals with alot of issues
