Just like the first book, in this series, it was a bit too long. If you like relationship issues and couples working through them, you will probably enjoy this book. I got pretty tired of it.

Dark Romance, Hades/Persephone Retelling, Fated Mates, 3 1/2🔥

Thank you to the publishers for and ARC copy of The Mistress & the Renowned, here is my honest review.

I definitely enjoyed a lot of the story, I love how Hades and Persephone are each going through their trauma, and how it's messy and emotional. Because let's be honest. Life and trauma are messy, and it was nice to see characters with doubt, anger and mistrust.

I did feel like some parts were a bit anticlimactic and there was a lull in the middle. But the ending, oh the ending more than made up for it!

Overall due to the ending I am now invested in how the story unfolds!
