“Never quit, but sometimes do quit, ’cause you simply might not be that good at some shit.”

These essays are so enjoyable and I chuckled the entire way through. Seth is such a great story-teller, and he comes off incredibly down-to-earth with stories about growing up in a Jewish family, coming of age while experimenting with drugs, having crushes and other totally normal teenage stuff. Even as he talks about encounters with musicians, actors, and celebrities, he somehow manages to seem very relatable and totally lovable.

One of my favorite stories was regarding his encounters with Nicholas Cage, who sounds as bizarre as I imagine him. 😂

Seth is not only self-aware, but demonstrates societal and cultural awareness. That married with his humor is so refreshing.

I listened to this one with my partner and really enjoyed hearing it in Seth Rogen’s voice.
