Of illustrated editions of fairytale retellings, this one is absolutely beautiful. It ranks up there with the Rapunzel one, and both are filled with gorgeous oil paintings.

My goodness I had forgotten about this book until it was recommended to me on my main page here! I loved this book so much as a child and even now! The story is beautiful and the illustrations only make it more amazing!

I mean 3 stars. It was only like 30 pages so not alot happened. Overall this was a fast read and a solid time haha.
