Not my favorite Gravett book. Not my 20-mo-old son's favorite either- he never requested it again after I read it the first time. Probably too advanced for him.

Nice art, with a multidimensional feeling aside from how I loved the 'multimedia' feeling of the book, and that the wolf facts are actually accurate . . . and then the alternate ending page 'for sensitive readers' made me laugh even more.

Funny and silly. Maybe a bit scary. Great and clever art. Basically breaks the 4th wall and the bunny gets eaten. Or not.

Gorgeous illustrations. It seemed this book was going somewhere and then...it just didn't.

I'm not sure I'd read this to my two-year-old granddaughter. The pictures are lovely, though.

a very fun book omg. kind of multi-modal and intertextual. i think lots of kids would really enjoy this and would have a laugh at the alternate ending.

teaching notes: for younger children and older, lessons could be adapted depending on level. perhaps making a poster to warn rabbits about the dangers of wolves? could be used in conjunction with Little Red by Bethan Woollvin and incorporate some drama/hotseating.
