Maggie has loved Braden MacAllister since they were children, but he has never seemed like the type of man that would ever marry. To prevent more people in her clan from dying in a senseless feud, Maggie convinces all of the women to move out of their homes and not interact with the men (cooking, sleeping together, etc.) until the feud ends in peace. Braden is sent in to protect her and to get her to end this strike that the women are conducting. It was like a cross between the enemies to lovers and friends to lovers trope since Maggie cared for Braden, but tried hard not to show it. I wish there were a few scenes featuring Maggie's brothers and Braden at the end of the book. For fans of historical romances set in Scotland.

Another enjoyable read by her. Part of the Brotherhood series, but not quite. The main characters are Sin's family, and Sin is in the story, but it's not about him. Women kick butt, and it's a funny read.

2.5 stars.

I have to say that this book disappointed me a bit. It was the second book in a series, and it felt like a repeat of the previous book, only changing the circumstances surrounding the main protagonists. Formula writing is something I’m not too keen of.

The constant yes but no, first hot and then cold situations between the two protagonists got boring after a while. Also, I was expecting more history and less silly romance.

Really disappointing, but then again, it was easy to read and it is an okay book if you have nothing planned for the weekend.

Edit: Arkadaşlar yıqıLdıM.
Braden'ın kardeşi Ian'ın kitabı yokmuş. YOKMUŞ.
NEDEN YA NEDEN
Edit 2: Ben gerçek bir gerizekalıyım.
Hanımeliçiçeği'm sayesinde kastettiğim bebişkom Sin, Ian değil, Ian Maggie'nin ikizi kdkcodpfpdpd of...

Braden: Hold my joystick

Ama öyle olmuyor asdfadfasdf

Aslında Maggie çocukluğundan beri "kahramanı" Braden'a aşık ama içindeki tüm fırtınaya rağmen direniyor.

Biz o fırtınada sırılsıklam oluyoruz.
Öhöm.
Baştan çıkartmaya çalıştığı Maggie, Braden'ın aklını başından alıyor.

Zampara görünümlü herif, düşünceli bir pislik, ahlaksız bir koruyucu, edepsiz bir aşık.
Ah...

Did enjoy the little references to Braden and Maggie's past and Rory's reaction when he thought his wife had left.

Maggie ingen Blair has created a problem in the MacAllister clan. She has lead the women to band together and turn their backs on their men until their leader calls a halt to the war with another clan. Maggie is doing it for the right reasons but every action has a consequence and now the time is running out before the men revolt and serve Maggie's head on platter. However she didn't expect to have her long time crush Braden MacAllister by her side to help put an end to it all. Braden is a rake, a man who flits from woman to woman and it has broken Maggie's heart on more then one occasion but Maggie is no beauty and she knows she will never be able to respect herself if she gives in to his wiles. Braden though is truly seeing Maggie for the first time and even though he would love to give her everything she desires he knows the type of man he is destined to become and that is not the settling down type or is it?

Pure fun. I really enjoyed the whole story and was fascinated with Sin MacAllister who accompanies Braden and Maggie. Maggie I loved her spirit and the fact that she was so blunt. Excellent read.

Fun, quick read! No real depth or development to the main characters, and the character I liked the best was the main dude's brother. However, let's be honest: who reads trashy romance novels for the character development :) ? I do like this book for the romance and ease of the writing, and recommend it for anyone wanting to read a book they already know the ending of. If you are looking for solid character development and a plot, then this is not the book for you.
