Three novellas about three friends, each containing the story of how they meet their one and only.

If you've never read anything from Ali before, you might give it more stars. It's truthfully a enjoyable read and I had a good time. But, if you have read her other books (I've only read Love Hypothesis so far but still) you have this constant déjà vu feeling. Like, it's a different book but you can't help feeling like you've read it before. Lots of similarities, even between the novellas themselves.

Under One Roof: this was my favorite and I loved the spicy scene because of its awkwardness. I'm kind of sick of all the perfect love making in other books, so enjoyed the more realistic approach. Loved the forced proximity trope.

Stuck with You: this one I liked the least, even though I do love Erik. Again the forced proximity thing (stuck in elevator), again the misunderstanding and very bad communication. Again the small girl vs massive guy. Felt like a repeat of the first story, but in an elevator.

Below Zero: no forced proximity here thank goodness, but I was kind of annoyed by the time-line jumping back and forth between present and a few months before (as it did with SWY as well). Erik and Ian are very similar imo. Expected a little more of the injury trope thing.

Loved the bonus chapters

These are sweet, non-threatening HEAs. Three connected short stories. Predictable and very similar to her other books; but if you like them you’ll like this.

There isn’t an Ali Hazelwood book I haven’t rated with high stars! She sucks you into her romance and dazzles you with her STEM knowledge. Her accurate representation of women in science not only impresses me but gives serious insight into a very real problem.

I don’t usually like novellas and short books drive me crazy but hers were all available in one book so it made me feel like I was reading a novel about three different women! Each unique in their own way, all hilarious, and all very much worth reading! This book has one of my highest recommendation for contemporary romance!

I give this a 3.5 stars, the first two novellas I loved they were so good but the last little novella I just didn’t connect with it. I also love how the novellas were interconnected and I loved the little bones chapter as well. Besides from not enjoying the last novella I’d say it was a good book 😊
