Quick, easy read. But in my opinion it was nothing special. I ended up speeding through this book simply because I had to read it for English class and while I had initially enjoyed it I felt like a more 'mature' (aka.sex), less well thought out and fleshed out Percy Jackson series. While I could appreciate the greek mythology I felt it was breezed over too quick in order to really take a look at anything.

It's pure fluff, the characters feel typical and predictable and go through the 'hero's journey' adventure to save the world from doom.

There are darker tones throughout it but this book isn't one to leave a lasting effect on you.

I know this book predates both, but it felt like Hadestown meets Gods of Jade and Shadows... and was somehow less enjoyable. I love Greek mythology so was intrigued by this premise. It was a cute book, but nothing really great stood out about it.

A wildly original and charming tale about Greek gods and goddesses interacting with mortals in today's world. Very fun, with surprises story-wise along the way.

This book is wonderfully silly. If you're not on board for goofy shenanigans, incestuous yet indifferent sex scenes, and depictions of gods that are not 100% true to the original form, turn back now. If you like a bit of laidback fun and humor, come on in!

I laughed a good amount and couldn't put this book down. Marie Phillips clearly had a fun time writing mythology into the modern day world with her own unique twists. It's a fun yet bawdy yet entertaining tale!

Cute. British humor. Strangely, I imagined all the characters as the cast of Glee. Sue Sylvester = Artemis. Puck = Apollo. Emma = Alice. Etc.

I really enjoyed this comic. I found it in the library, and ended up buying it afterward. It's just fun and hart warming.

Great novel! Super funny. A knowledge of Greek myth is recommended for optimal reading experience.
