I enjoyed this book.
A good love story of a good girl finding her alpha male to fall in love with.
I liked the development of the characters from where they first started in the past to the present of finding one another again. Good build up of angst and once the angst is ignited into a hot sexy romance that left me breathless.
A Quick hot read to keep you toasty during these cold winter days.

Go oneclick it.

I think this book could've been a 5 star rating for me but the quick turnaround from years of being away from Kase to getting all up in his space straightaway was a bit much for me. I really enjoyed the plot of the book though and how there was an element of surprise with Kase's family.

June has waited for four years for Kase. He would come for visits but he never would seek her out. Well, now he's home for good and her family wants to buy his family out of their land. She seems to be the only one who may have a chance of talking them out of it but the person she has to confront, is Kase.
What she doesn't know is he's got his own agenda, he wants what no one else has gotten and he will make a very difficult deal in order to get it.
Will everyone get what they want or will someone get hurt on the way?

Unfortunately what was wrong with this story for me was the lack of complexity in the characters outside of their relationship with each other and even that wasn’t built very well. The book went very quickly from “I don’t want to do anything till I’m ready” to “I’m ready, give it to me harder” and it just wasn’t remotely realistic for me no one that is that unsure changes their mind that quickly.

I'm really loving the Misadventures series and this latest installment by Meredith Wild did not disappoint. As it was such a sweet, enjoyable, second chance romance. That had great characters, plenty of sexy times and even a few long held secrets. That altogether made it extremely hard to put down but totally worth reading and I would happily recommend it to others.

I have mixed feelings about this.
I love the second chance, the decade old family rivalry adding a Romeo and Juliet vibe to this (without the death). But the virginity/land deal part was a bit cringe for me.

Officially, I can never get enough of the series. Its sweet, cute and hyper romantic.

I cant help the butterflies fluttering in my stomach every time I pick a Misadventures book.

Though Kase and June’s story might not be my favourite, they are one of the sweetest couple in this series. It also had a little suspense which is very surprising for a romance book.

Indeed a quick, feel-good read.

The premise was dumb, the conflict was dumb, and the family drama was dumb. The smut was so so and it wasn’t in my favorites in this series

I feel like the sex scenes are more like Jase taking adventage of June, he is not really listening to her. There's teasing and there is doing something that she's not sure about.
