Greatly preferred this over Preludes and Nocturnes. There were more proper arcs in this and more intriguing mythology.

I want to preface this by saying - I am not a comic book reader by any means. But I started picking these up because I am obsessed with anything Gaiman writes. And I gotta say if anyone can turn me into a comic book reader its Gaiman. I am obsessed and I LOVE these. Volume Two we get more of the sandman and his adventures. Its dark and witty. I have withheld reading comic books before because I wrongly assumed they would be predictable. But not this. 10/10 I love this series.
