Good story! Towards the end the nonstop handholding commentary was getting tiresome but I enjoyed it overall.

I was a bit skeptical about a side story to the series I loved but of course Drew Hayes did a great job with this. I do recommend actually reading it before book four of the main series (Super Powereds) because I could see where things were headed since I read this after. But it was still fun to see the dots connected to the book 4. I really enjoyed this and loved getting to read a bit more in the Super Powereds universe. And if you haven’t read Super Powereds I do recommend!

I love Drew Hayes! This story is a slight spin off of the Super Powered books (My favorite of his series). It has so much heart. It also has Drew Hayes' usual mix of adventure, intrigue, camaraderie, and delightful dialogue.
