 I did not realize that why choose could be so good, this series was amazing and a really great step into reverse harem for a reader who hasn’t read that before.

While reading this I could almost feel how much the author just wanted to finish this series up so she could get back to writing her more popular Dark Olympus series. I however have firmly decided that I only prefer her non-fantasy-based books. Oh well.

2,5 Sterne. In dieser Reihe wartet man leider vergeblich darauf, dass das Worldbuilding tiefgründiger erklärt wird. Es werden bis zum Schluss keinerlei Fragen zu Mina und den Seraphim beantwortet, Mina bleibt bis kurz vor Schluss eher untätig, wieder sind die präsentierten Konfliktlösungen einfach nur plump und verhindern dadurch einen gelungenen Spannungsaufbau. Die Erotik, die die Bücher bisher ausgemacht und definitiv getragen hat, wird hier leider auch weniger und etwas repetitiv und findet in der Handlung nicht so richtig ihren Platz. Ihre drei Männer bleiben sympathisch und die Beziehungen vertiefen sich, aber es bleibt dabei, dass man sie nach wie vor kaum näher kennenlernt. Schade, dass der Abschluss der Reihe so schwach ausgefallen ist. Der Plot hätte definitiv besonders in diesem Band deutlich mehr Potenzial hergegeben.

This is super bland and the most plot armor I’ve ever seen used. It could’ve been deeper had there been more POVs to understand everyone and their situation, emotionally and physically. The fires and their fighting, how did that go? How was their own personal battles? I’m glad it’s over. Don’t think I’ll be reading more from the author, this wasn’t really a good start or introduction. Easily could have been a three part stand alone novel.
