Wow this handled narcissism really well, especially it being her parent. No “but she’s your mom you should forgive her” it’s just straight up you abused me and I’m not putting up with it anymore. 10/10 great novel with great art

I wasn’t a huge fan of the insta-love, but there’s so much else to love about this graphic novel. (The love story was pretty sweet.) I hadn’t thought much before about AI, especially considering I’m a die hard Star Trek fan, and the only reason I picked this up was the author/illustrator. I welcomed the explanations about AI and consciousness from a scientific standpoint, and I enjoyed the way AI was integrated into everyday life. The art is utterly love; I’d expect nothing less from Wendy Xu.
