Four satisfying short stories featuring Poirot, ideal for packaging as a ‘quick read’. Actually I think I prefer the short stories to the full-length Poirot novels. In the short stories, Agatha Christie doesn’t attempt to build up any other characters other than Poirot - everyone else is simply a foil to his sleuthing skills.
