Ši knyga viena iš nedaugelio autorės Kristina Hannah kuri nepatiko. Tikėjausi rimto pasakojimo, su giliomis temomis, kaip ir kitos autorės knygos, tačiau ši mane nuvylė. Daugiau nei pusę knygos skaičiau, kad skaityti, nes buvo nuobodu ir visai nekabino. Pasakojimas apie dvi seseris ir jų nekokį tarpusavio santykį viena su kita bei bandymą suartėti. Skaičiau skaičiau, o visa knyga tiesiog vos ne per kelis paskutinius puslapius išsirutuliojo ir staiga baigėsi. Gaila, tačiau šį kartą visai ne mano knyga.

Ontroerend verhaal hoe twee (half)zusjes - Meghann, de oudste, die een glansrijke carrière in Seattle heeft weten op te bouwen als doortastende echtscheidingsadvocate, maar in haar jeugd ernstig emotioneel beschadigd werd door haar egocentrische moeder, het geloof in ware liefde heeft verloren en kampt met schuldgevoelens omdat ze als tiener haar negen jaar jongere zusje in de steek heeft gelaten) en Claire, ongehuwd moeder van een vijfjarig dochtertje, die samen met haar vader in een onbeduidend plaatsje een vakantiepark runt - na jarenlange onderlinge vervreemding hun weg naar elkaar proberen terug te vinden.
