This was as good as any of Kristin Hannah’s books. I was annoyed with Joe for being a little slow to connect the dots, but it was easy to forgive him given his own mental and emotional state. There were a few too many convenient coincidences, but I guess situating it in a town with less than a 900 people makes plot devices easy. I also thought I would’ve preferred some of her choices near the end to be different. All in all, a good book.

This was an okay read! Not great and not bad. I liked the characters and character development but the plot was pretty predictable. It was a nice character read.
