Initial thoughts: I love the characters. I love the story. I love everything... almost. The reason this book isn't rated five stars is because I had a bit of an issue with part two of this book, and I'll explain in detail when I post my review. But here are a few things you need to know: Devin needs to be protected. Angelina is amazing. Ayden, on the other hand... Okay okay, I'll stop.

~I received an e-ARC from the author and willingly reviewed it~

Always remember. Angelina, Devin and Ayden have been best friends forever. But by senior year of high school, things are starting to fall apart. Devin is out partying every night, relentless in his pursuit of forgetting. When he publicly shames Angelina, her and Ayden break away from him. But their paths will meet again; will they reconcile, or will their friendship be destroyed forever?

I did a lot of thinking after I started reading this book. Who would I choose out of Ayden and Devin, how easily would I forgive? The answers to these wonderings came easily, but there was a nagging feeling at the back of my mind which thought my choices were wrong, and that Ange would decide differently. This book really tore me up. There's so much raw emotion and pain.

No matter how much I tried to hate him, Devin could do no wrong in my eyes. I love his character arc, and the revelations of part two are crucial for our understanding of his behaviour, particularly in his high school era. Ayden is perfect in Angelina's eyes but I didn't like him very much. I love Ange, but I didn't relate to her in part two at all. Becky is a nasty piece of work, but she served good use in terms of furthering the plot I guess.

You've probably wondering why I gave Inseparable such a low rating. I thought about it for ages, but felt it was the right choice. Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love the characters. But I wasn't a fan of the second part of the story. It felt like naturally good Ange was "degrading herself" to Devin's old level. Maybe I'm misunderstanding grief, but I thought it was unnecessary.

Inseparable is a beautiful tale about children who grew up. Filled with emotional drama, this book covers many hard situations in its duration. I love the characters and while I didn't love the story line, it's a great story and I highly recommend it. Inseparable will make you laugh and cry at the same time.

This is a story about love. Love of self, love of friendship and all-consuming love together. This book grabs all your emotions, strips you bare and puts you back together again. Amazing read!

This was an amazing book. It reaches deep in you and rips your heart out, then puts it back together. This book in turns was painful, just what the characters go through, and how they right their world is angst at it's finest. I cried, I smiled, I cried again. This book was definitely more than I bargained for. I highly suggest this book to anyone who wants all the feels in the world. told in alternating POV.

I freaking loved this book!

The heartbreak felt real and gave me all the emotions

Angelica, Devin and Aiden were the best of friends.. but what happens when feelings develop and people change?

This book is about friendship, love, feeling lost and out of control, finding yourself, finding peace among guilt.

This book really has it all. Check the TW/CW as there are several!

Story 4.5⭐️

This is the second book by Siobhan Davis I've read now and I'm starting to think she's just not for me.

I went into this thinking it would be right up my street. I tend to love the toxic love from being young tropes so I was all ready for the toxicity, but this just didn't work for me and the execution just wasn't it.

I did really like young ange and Devin and their dynamic but as I said the execution of the story ruined it for me. This book was only 450 pages, longer than a lot of books but I've read way longer, yet this just seemed to drag. By the halfway mark I was ready for it to finish. It's like the author just rushed all the events that happened and then filled the rest of the book with more and more cliche's, this whole book was just all the typical teen romance tropes shoved into one. We definitely didn't need Ange running off and having a new identity blah blah. The first half of the story could have been good if only Siobhan had taken her time and let it draw out but she didn't and therefore it just didn't work.

I don't think I'll be reading any more of her books which is a shame.

Omg. TEAR JERKER. I can here from Incognito and wished I would have read this first. I wanted to knock a lot of sense into ALL of the 3 main characters, a lot! So much heartache could have been avoided had these peoples talked, but of course no one communicates well as a child (teenager). I love how the story ended but it was such a bumpy, beautiful ride

Calling this a terrible book is an insult to terrible books. I could not think of one positive thing to say about it if I tried... Except maybe to say that it was so unnecessarily long that at least the paperback could make nice kindling for a fire. But other than that, this was like a soap opera on crack and that just isn't for me.

If you live for the soap operas, go crazy!
