Really interesting concept.
In this village, one family can heal your sorrows and the other family can make you forget about it.
While I did find this interesting, I had issues with the pacing, the characters and to be fair - my personal convictions.
I just strongly believe that the life experiences you’ve had shapes who you are as a person (and this is coming from someone who had a rough upbringing). So I couldn’t fully immerse myself into this story.
It’s a quick read though and I would recommend this for a quick Fall read.
