It was a short, but I'm sure that the authors were going for that and wanted to keep it concise. I felt that they could have explained bacteria better and go into more detail. However, I really do like the section on fungi. I found that section very informative. This book was intended for kids to have a short and summarized version of simple life forms and I must say it completed its mission. However, I am a high school student and was looking for something more in depth. I recommend this to someone who is in elementary or middle school level.
