This book/series has potential. Exploring her trauma and ptsd in a more realistic way would’ve bumped this to a higher rating. As is, she falls into normal way too fast. The timeline was confusing. A couple days? Yet her skin is flawless with healed scars after 2 weeks of being beaten and tortured?
The plot could’ve been amazing. It’s giving handmaid tale vibes. Unfortunately, it’s undeveloped with nothing really happening. Hopefully explored more in future books.

I really enjoyed this, I really felt for harper and was so glad she finally got a happy ending after everything she went through, I just wish we could have seen more time with them as a pack after they bonded!

Look, I like omegaverse books as much as the next person, but this really focused on trauma and abuse and I get if you’re interested in reading that, but if I’m reading a romance it’s just a lot

DNF. 7 years of torture and abuse and she's in the MMCs home for one night and is already climbing one begging him for sex? Mind you she is malnourished, bruised and looks like she's been thru hell and they don't even offer her food on her first night there?
