4.5 Stars! Single mum + single dad + cowboys = hell yeah!
Paisley - single mum of 2 kids, who's struggling to make ends meet all while finishing her degree. Her ex is less than useless and a grade-A a**hole, having cheated on her multiple times before leaving.
Bowen - single dad widower, who lost his wife due to a terrible accident back on his ranch, while he was off on a rodeo tour. He's never forgiven himself for not being there, and is determined to win the next tournament to try and bury some of the demons in his mind.
When both of their sons leave their webcams on after a gaming session, Paisley and Bowen meet screen-to-screen and the attraction is instantaneous. They spend the next few weeks chatting more online and their connection grows and grows. So she's shocked when she sees him face-to-face in her house one day! I don't want to give away any spoilers so I won't say what happens next.
I really enjoyed this story, and my heart broke for both characters at times. From Paisley's struggle to keep everything afloat whilst studying, to Bowen's guilt he carries round with regards to his wife's death and rodeo. It was great to watch their relationship evolve and get stronger, with some hiccups along the way of course! Also was a nice change to be set in Australia.
Can't wait for Addie & Kai's story next!
No Cheating. Cliff-hanger in the epilogue (not involving 2 leads). HEA guaranteed.

This is the first Elle Thorpe book I’ve read that didn’t take place in the Saint View universe. I didn’t like it as much.  Owen is a professional bull rider in Australia. Paisley is a divorced mom of 2 who delivers food. Her son plays online video games with Bowen’s son and they end up living in the same town and  meet up. Their relationship blossoms. He gives up riding for her. Meh.Â
