Confession: I have not read the Harry Potter series. I've watched the movies and I've tried to read them before but I have never passed from the second book. For some reason, all of the sudden, I felt like reading Harry Potter so I've decided to make it one of my book resolutions for 2017. I hope I can actually achieve it.
Anyway, I feel the movie is quite faithful to the book so I pretty much knew (and remembered) everything that happens (I'm pretty sure that won't happen in the latter books) but I still really enjoyed it! Also, every time Dean Thomas was mentioned I would remember small and young Alfie Enoch and get emotional *prays to the tv gods he gets a new awesome show soon*.
My favourite part was this one when they are trapped in the Devil's Snare because I just think it's hilarious:
"So light a fire! Harry choked.
"Yes - of course - but there's no wood!" Hermione cried, wringing her hands.
"HAVE YOU GONE MAD?" Ron bellowed. "ARE YOU A WITCH OR NOT?"
....
"Lucky you pay attention in Herbology, Hermione" said Harry as he joined her by the wall, wiping sweat off his face.
"Yeah," said Ron, "and lucky Harry doesn't lose his head in a crisis - 'there's no wood,' honestly."

This book is one of the books that started me on the path of being a bookworm. I love it. This book is magic. The beginning of one of the greatest series of all time.
