Genuinely loved this book and will recommend it to anyone!! The story is not only creepy (you know cause one of the characters is a serial killer lol) but also an amazing exploration of familial ties and responsibilities. I could not help but relate to Korede's own journey as an older sister, and the responsibilities that come with it. This book is a study of sisterhood, womanhood, the patriarchy, and power.
One of my favorite books of the year! Only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because it is not my usual genre (fantasy). Otherwise, everyone should read it
