5 fabulous stars!

Angelo and Tilly both went through the loss of their spouse which made them have a better understanding and a deeper relationship knowing how short life can be. I loved the pace of this story and the secondary characters of the Gallo family always make me smile. Add in Tilly's brother in law Roger and the whole set of secondary characters were amazing. I loved that Tate and Brax accepted Tilly with no resistance and that Tate encouraged her dad to find love again. Another fantastic book by Chelle Bliss!

I more than loved this book !

It's so well written, with lots of very deeply felt emotions, nice bits of steam and very lovely kids ;)
Gripping (from start to finish) storyline, oh so strong characters and a little drama.

Mix this all together and you'll get a highly recommended book written by a great author; can't wait to be able to read the rest of the series :)

Thank you Chelle Bliss for the great read!

WHAT I LIKED:
I was instantly hooked on this story. Angelo is raising two adorable kids by himself after his wife passed. On her death bed she made him promise to live again. He meets Tilly, a fired up baker opening a cupcake shop next door, who coincidentally is also a widow. The chemistry between these two is phenomenal and has me hook, line, and sinker right to the end.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:
While I understand Tilly’s reaction near the end of the book, I don’t necessarily agree with it. I think it was a little over dramatic.. if there was earlier messages or something throughout the book and seeing that was the last straw, it would be more believable in my opinion.

OVERALL / RECOMMENDATION:
I love this book, this writing style, this author ♥️ I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers! No doubts about it, anyone who reads it will love it.

Chelle has done it again!! Angelo......mmmmm.... I loved this so much...it tugs at your heart, makes you cry, but makes you laugh...The Gallo boys do not disappoint in this one and Angelo might just be the hottest one yet! Angelo and Tilly both know the pain of loss and the fear of putting yourself out there again. When Angelo hears a crash coming form the new cupcake shop next door he is mesmerized by the foul mouthed beauty standing in the kitchen. The chemistry between them is sizzling, but neither is willing to make a first move. In true Gallo family fashion Betty, with the help of Tate, makes sure they keep running into each other. This has everything you could want from a love story. It's got pain, guilt, soul, and so much passion and love that I couldn't put it down!!

That warning at the front of the book about tissues? Don't ignore it. I didn't even get through the prologue without crying! And the letters and dreams? OMG they had me sobbing. This is Chelle Bliss at her emotion wrenching best.

I really wasn't sure whether to read this or not, I loved the original series but didn't quite connect with Maneuver. It wasn't bad, but just not as amazing as I'm used to from Chelle Bliss. However this was back to the full of character, emotion packed and engaging story that I've come to expect. I now need to go back and read Flow!

Angelo and Tilly have both suffered devastating loss. A loss so cruel it has left them broken, struggling and unable to contemplate loving anyone else. That is until they meet each other and find someone who understands them in a way no-one else does, not even their closest friends and family.

"Are we too broken to be together?" I whisper with my eyes locked with his.
He shakes his head and brushes his lips against my forehead. "I think we're too broken for other people, but together, we're whole."

Both characters are really well written, this is a Hero and heroine who you can really fall in love with. Then there is Tate who really adds an extra zing to the book. I was gripped from start to the end of this book. The writing flows smoothly, the pace is engaging and the story is just a delight to read, even if it is repeatedly through tears.

It's a very slow burn story, which suits the plot and characters perfectly, though once it gets going boy does it get hot! The chemistry between Tilly and Angelo was both intense and scorching, especially the cake frosting scene. I totally believed in their growing connection and feelings and was absolutely invested in them as a couple. This is a really amazing book and one I'm only too happy to recommend.

Finally, a book I can totally relate to. Instead of tears I was "Yes, that is exactly how I felt!!!!". The author doesn't know me but she got me. The guilt, the fear, the guessing, the pressure--all of it has been me.

What am I talking about you might ask? I was one of those people left to raise a seven year old on my own. For all of you that haven't experienced it but love to judge this book should be your next read. For those of you that know someone that needs support and hope grab them a copy.

Angelo and Tilly are my heroes. I can't begin to express how wonderful I felt reading their journey and that of his little children. Just beautiful. I will admit I am a little hungry and could go for one of Tilly's cupcakes.

I really enjoyed Angelo and Tilly. Both are widowed with similar backstories except Angelo comes with two little people.

Hook is probably my favourite one so far from the series and I loved the flirtation between Angelo and Tilly. Tilly is a very confident heroine and her outfit choices fit her personality extremely well. Tilly slots in perfectly to Angelo's life with his two children but I would have loved to have seen his son get more screen time. He seemed to be a forgotten piece!

This slow burn has all the spice that we've seen in the other books and that I've come to expect from Chelle Bliss. I'll be diving into the next book very soon!

I make no secret about being one of Ms. Bliss's biggest fans--but this story surpassed even my high expectations of a book from her. And straight-up truth: I wasn't quite sure if that would be the case after reading the first scene. Right out of the gate, prepare to have your guts completely yanked out of your body, and your heart flattened to a pulp. Bliss pulls no punches with the emotional impact here--and while it's rough to read, I wouldn't have her change a word. This wrenching beginning means the road to healing is going to be sweet, sensual, and completely, utterly sigh-worthy. Along the way, you're introduced to a cast of characters who are all beautifully created and honored with intense, captivating back stories. This is everything a perfect romance book should contain, with every bit of heart-rending feels for the fascinating journey--and yes, even cookies and cupcakes too! Definitely on my keeper shelf--FOREVER!

I absolutely devoured Hook last night - finishing this morning. Jeez woman. I felt it all. Every. Single. Emotion. You broke me in that prologue. So much so, my family must think I'm coming down with something. Perpetual sniffles. But dayyum, you put me back together again. I can't remember the last time a book had me feel every single emotion the characters felt. I miss that. Often times I power through books and enjoy them, but rarely do I take pause after each chapter and reflect on how the author made me feel. Thank you for making me feel them. And that epilogue... sigh.
