Cute, lyrical and what a delightful set of slightly ridiculous characters. Frank is goodness personified and the way he quietly helps everyone who comes into his shop is so lovely. I'm not sure I found the overall story particularly memorable, and it feels so unnecessarily sad at one point that I really felt the injustice of how Frank and his shop ended up. But there is a scene right at the end that is so filled with joy that it made the whole thing completely worthwhile. I was grinning for the whole chapter, and wanted to leap up and applaud at one point.
A very sweet romance that brilliantly captures the personal emotions that are tied up in music.

A cozy read about healing from loss, set to an expansive soundtrack. Like Harold Fry, this is about the journey. However, this one includes the group of people you find to walk with as you go.
Given the prominence of music, I think it would translate well to a multi-part series and I sort of started to cast in it my head as I read.
