My students really enjoyed Diary of a Worm, so they voted on reading this book. This is a diary of a spider.

The spider is a lot like a human with just different fears. He goes to gym class and has Grandparents' Day at school. But he also spins sticky webs, scales walls, and takes wind–catching lessons.

Spiders have never been so adorable! Unless you ask Kendra, in which case they are always adorable.

This was the third book in the series which I read and probably my least favorite of the three but still the whole series about a worm, fly, and spider is great. Lots of great facts about spiders.

Such a funny story...maybe some of the humor was lost on Robby, but I sure enjoyed it!

A humorous look at the everyday life of a spider. Would be great paired with a nonfiction picture book on spider life.

Fun, but nearly as good as Diary of a Worm.

An entertaining book told in the format of a diary from the perspective of a spider who is best friends with a fly and a worm (who each have their own diary story, too). Readers learn a bit about spiders as well as see some jokes in the pictures. This books is likely intended for K-3rd grade readers due to the words use throughout which are not too complex and there aren’t too many on each page. Readers who would enjoy this book include those who like spiders, those who like learning, and those who like funny pictures.
