Strong anthology! My favorites were Your Heart Is An Apple by Nivedita Sekar, Def Together by fydbac, and The Shop That Never Stays by Gabrielle Robinson and Hannah Lazarte.

I read this in a single day - it's that short but also that compelling. I didn't love them all (I never do in any anthology), but I didn't hate any of them, which is something I can't say about every anthology. Just a really fun, quick read.

What a great collection! Other comics anthologies I've read didn't have true short stories that stood on their own, but Power & Magic really did! My favourites were "Your Heart Is an Apple," "The Whisperer," "Te Perdi," & "The Shop that Never Stays." And there were only a few that didn't really do it for me. There was a nice mix of drawing styles, serious & light-hearted stories, and different cultures & ethnicities. You can't go wrong with these stories about queer witches of colour!
