I rarely do audiobooks but holy cow was this one amazing. Glad I chose to listen to it rather than read!

Enjoyable psychological thriller that provides a creepily accurate view into the mind of a murderous narcissist. Audiobook co-narrated by BBC actress Nicola Walker is compelling. The device of a true crime podcast-within-a-story works well in an audiobook (not sure I would like it as much on the page). Saw one twist coming, but there are a few well-crafted surprises towards the end.

I’m questioning the truth of everything and I love it. I have so many questions and barely any answers but I wouldn’t change a thing.

Listened to this book. I loved it, but like many others...the ending was kinda meh. I was super sucked into the story and thought it was well written...especially when adding in my love for true crime podcasts! I just wanted a bit more in the end.

ok….. first of all, the title kinda ruined the suspense of the whole book!!! like reading everything josie was saying and having the thought of her just lying in the back of my mind just made this book so predictable. i did like it half way through, it was interesting and had me hooked but as things start to spiral with josie i just started to kind hate it and just want the book to be over. i actually hated the ending the author gave josie ugh i wish they would’ve caught her….
