I’m excited to continue with Diana Quincy’s work. I love a good historical romance, and Quincy seems to excel in that area.  I’m looking forward to all the different couples I’m about to meet. I loved Charlotte and how fierce she is. Cam falling first and being atrociously down bad made me wanna kick my feet like I was in high school. Overall super fun romance.

I really wanted to love Seducing Charlotte. I've wanted to read Diana Quincy's books for a while, heard this was a good book to start with, and the description sold me. Unfortunately, this was a miss for me. First, I had a hard time getting past a lot of the gender essentialism, which was especially prominent during sex scenes. Second, I felt like there was a pro-industrialization (and subsequently anti-worker/anti-union) sentiment throughout. Ultimately, I did enjoy reading the love story, but I would enjoyed it a lot more if these issues weren't present.
