I really liked this book. I didn't witness the events of January 6th as they happened, as I was in the process of moving, but over the following weeks, I caught up. Officer Fanone and the others who put themselves in harm's way to protect the still-delicate democracy of this country should be commended, which this book clearly demonstrates has not yet occurred. There is colorful language, so if you are sensitive to bad words or a black officer's recount of being called a racial slur by insurrectionists, don't read this book. If you are a person who believes the 2020 election was rigged, don't read this book. If none of those apply to you, read this book.
