Obwohl ich Kittys Zeiten als aktive Agentin weiterhin schmerzlich vermisse, versteht Gini Koch es auch weiterhin, Kitty und ihr Team auf immer neue witzige, verworrene und actionreiche Missionen zu schicken, die fabelhaft und kurzweilig unterhalten. Jedes Buch der Reihe macht Spaß, aber das Level der ersten drei Romane erreichen sie leider nicht mehr ganz.

Kitty is back! Every “Alien” novel that comes out, is like finally getting a piece of your favorite dessert after too long without it! You are always feeling like you could have eaten much more.
I can’t believe we are already in book 7 of the Katherine “Kitty” Katt series. Gini Koch’s books are always a treat to read and Alien in the House is NO exception!
Kitty is back, along with all the friends, family and enemies she has acquired throughout the series. Alien in the House has a bit of a different pace from the previous books in the series, however. It is still a very fast-paced story and there is plenty of action. But, Alien in the House felt more like an in-between book. It was very dialogue oriented, which I LOVE, made us aware of a far-reaching arch from all the books and sets us up for much more action in the future.
We get a lot of Kitty and Martini time in Alien in the House. We also get to catch up with other couples in the series and even see some more budding romances all around. I love that and I love seeing the characters I have come to love from book one, find love.
One thing I did have an issue with was that there are SO many characters in the series, that the year since Alien Vs. Alien came out, meant that it took me awhile to situate myself. But, once I did, Alien in the House was a great political thriller that I could not put down for a second.
I loved Alien in the House, but in a different way from the previous books in the series. I mean, it still had the signature Gini Koch humor I so adore. However, it felt more like a Thriller/Murder Mystery novel than a Sci-Fi and I honestly was cool with that. It was a very interesting change of pace for the series, but a welcome one.
Alien in the House is another great addition to one of my favorite series EVER! I do caution you that, if you haven’t read the previous books in the series, it might be confusing. However, the Katherine “Kitty” Katt / Alien series is so freaking good, that you need to read them all anyways!

This took me ages to finish, and by the end, I was just relieved I had finally managed to. The book was pretty slow in places, with less action than the others. The story involved politics, murder, and lots of conspiracies all coming together. I really like Jamie, and how she seems to be an advanced baby. Plus, some characters we met a couple books ago turned out to be not all they seemed. To add to this, Kitty and Jeff had a lot of page time, and I liked seeing that. So I liked this book, but it'll never be one of my favorites in the series. I need a lot more action than this book gave me, and a plot that's just a bit less confusing. Still, I'll continue on with the series. I want to see how Jamie grows up, and if the whole ACE situation is figured out.

I can't keep myself away from this series. This one is really out there when it comes to the plot but I've learned with this series you just have to roll with it. I had fun while reading it and I think that's all that matters.

This is one of my favorite books in this series. It is the one that reads most strongly as a mystery (in the midst of the science fiction/romance pieces). And it holds up strongly to re-reading.

Funny and smart with nice character depth especially if you've read the others in the series. I love the plot within plot within plot within.. You get the idea. I have yet to figure out every "big reveal" in the books but have tons of fun with the action, politics, and music playlists.

This book was so fantastic! Loved reading it, so much happened, like the Mastermind, and yeah, so many other things, as well! Loved it! Can't wait to read more!

And the web gets bigger. All of the stories are lining up! I wonder how much longer we are gonna be lead on this adventure. A web of lies hiding a criminal mastermind. I can’t wait to see Jamie’s potential, if Kitty has another kid, if we are gonna continue with the thick diplomacy plots, and all that. Gonna start the next book now!
