To be honest I bought this book for its cover. The print and the cover certainly gives it a look of a magical book. Though I watched the movie before, reading this book was an awesome experience for me. It was like recreating those movie scenes in my mind. Introduction of Albus Dumbledore, Nicolas Flamel, Minerva McGonagall, Nagini and the Pheonix in this part surely makes a nostalgic read for Potterheads. Another interesting magical beast is introduced in this part: Zouwu, a gigantic elephant-sized five-coloured cat. Its ability of wrapping space and marching distance with fast speed are really fascinating.
And the end... It was FREAKING AWESOME

Definitely you are up for a treat when you read a JK Rowling book and especially one pertaining to the Harry Potter world, the magic world.
I was left in a cliff hanger when i finished the last page. I was like WTF .. Aurelius Dumbledore.
Of course we meet now characters we have read about in the Harry Potter series like Nagini and the elder wand. Nicholas Flammel as well
It fell so nice and felt like home when you read the book
I was screaming most of the time i knew these ppl.
Waiting anxiously for the next part

A few months after the events of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a certain dark wizard (no, not Voldemort) escapes captivity and continues his quest to dominate the wizarding world. Newt Scamander, meanwhile, on assignment Albus Dumbledore, reunites with his American friends, Tina and Queenie Goldstein and the No-Maj Jacob to find out what Grindelwald is up to.

The group is also joined by Theseus, Newt's older, more successful brother and Leta Lestrange, Newt's former love and Theseus' fiancée, who struggles to keep a secret she has been holding to her chest for years from becoming public knowledge.

I realised by the end that I had approached this series in the wrong order but I enjoyed nonetheless and have a better understanding now. I love seeing the development of Dumbledore and was excited for more of an insight into Nicholas Flamel.

The magical world of J. K. Rowling has always felt like home but the first prequel(?) was somewhat lacking of that home-factor although it was amazing. Now I love this installation better than the first one because it reflects more with the original HP series that I've loved.
All in all, it was a thrill reading this. Can't wait for it to show in my country.
