Not a huge fan of the art, but the writing made up for it with some great monologues and amusing banter. Overall, this was a quick and fun read about a band of jaded, almost-immortal warriors. Looking forward to the next installment.

If you haven't seen the Netflix film, read this, then go see it. If you have seen the show, this is still very very good.
A story about immortals will always get my attention, so when I saw Netflix advertising a show with Charlize Theron about a band of immortals, fighting for what's right, I was in!
In fact, I was so much in, that I decided to read the comic the show was based on, and a lot of other people got the same idea, so I've been waiting for this to turn up at the library.
The story and setting is very familiar if you've seen the film, as the film is basically a 1:1 of the comic. What the comic has is great pace, beautiful colouring (by Daniela Miwa) and some genuinely funny and badass moments.
I'm gonna go place a hold on the next in the series (and possibly watch the film again).
