“I know there may be universes out there where I made different choices and they led me somewhere else, led me to someone else. And my heart breaks for every single version of me that didn't end up with you.”
“He still, all these years later, shines brighter to me than other people. Even after I got over him, I was never able to extinguish the fire completely, as if it's a pilot light that will remain small and controlled, but very much alive.”
― Taylor Jenkins Reid, Maybe in Another Life
Wow wow wow! Have you ever wondered about the choices you're given and actually what doing the other might have led you to? This book takes you on that crazy ride, paralleled by Hannah choosing both and us getting to see where it leads her and who it leads her to. I rooted for both Ethan and Henry. <3

It's an enjoyable read. You can definitely see the growth from this to Evelyn Hugo but this was still fun.
Also, this book mentions cinnamon rolls 76 times.

Hannah Martin lives life as it comes. She can't seem to polish her professional skills, she can't stay in the same city for a long period of time and she hasn't the best taste in men. She comes back to her hometown, hoping her life will take a turn for the best. After a fateful decision, the reader is presented with two storylines developing the consequences of Hannah's decision. It then raises the question, is life dictated by chance or do the choices we make change the course of life?
My queen did it again, albeit, on a much smaller scale. I was on the fence while reading the book, I was having a really hard time connecting with the story; mainly because there's a plot point that I hate to read in books. Though this time, I feel it was justified.
Both storylines were interesting, though I have a favorite, and I wish we had more on it. The nature of the book wouldn't allow it, but I think that storyline could have stood by itself in a book.
