Stunned, shocked, and twisted into knots over this second installment of Rydeville High Elite, Twisted Betrayal. Siobhan's writing just gets better and better and this series has proven just how intricate and woven her plot twists go.

I was almost speechless in wondering how I was going to write up this review without giving too much away, because right from the beginning this book is all in, full out go time. This is not a book to pick up without reading Cruel Intentions first, namely you will WANT to read it because it is just a good book, but secondly Twisted Betrayal is a riding the middle of the road at a hundred miles per hour before dropping from the highest point off a coaster type of book. Everything is culminating and reaching a tipping point so trust me, you will tear through this book because there are no stalling points to stop and take a break.

The elite have upped a notch, and I'm not talking about the students Abby attended Rydeville with. No, you will get to know evil in a new form and this evil and wickedness is at the heart of the plot. You will want justice for Abby over and over again, and at the end of the day, you know it has to be won. The even bigger question comes into play, who can she trust when everyone in her life has betrayed her. She really only has herself to rely on even when those closest to her say they would die protecting her, what is protection when there is no trust. This book will leave you with answers and so many more questions. It is the perfect second addition to this twisted series.

On August 20th, turn off all communication, lock your door and keep all snacks close by when you sit down to read this one cover to cover. You're gonna love this ride.

Twisted Betrayal lives up to its name! Abby is still reeling after all the secrets revealed at the end of Cruel Intentions and wakes up to find her whole world has been flipped on its head. One of the things I have always loved about Siobhan Davis's books is the angst, twists, spice and rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. There are quite a few trigger-worthy topics in the storyline of this gripping dark romance, so if you have any, I suggest reading them before starting Twisted Betrayal. I am moving on to the third book in the series, not wanting to wait after that cliffhanger. The Rydeville Elite series continues to be a series I will reread, making Twisted Betrayal a 5 / 5 star read, in my opinion.

Oh where to start with this review, WITHOUT giving any spoilers…I feel so conflicted on so many things! We were left with a massive cliffhanger in book 1; most of us demanding the answer to just one thing – is she or isn’t she!?

With book 2, we get our answer but we also get SO MUCH MORE after that answer.
It’s just a whirlwind of emotions. When I think about it, I realize I am STILL furious with a multitude of things that happened within the story.

The title is definitely accurate – TWISTED BETRAYAL. There is SO much twisting and SO much betrayal to such an intense level, that it almost made my head spin.

I AM MAD.
I AM FURIOUS.
I AM HEARTBROKEN.
I AM IN SHOCK.

With Twisted Betrayal, Siobhan Davis picked up my already ailing heart and instead of tending it in an effort to restore the inflicted damage her words had left from Cruel Intentions, she just kept picking away at it; tossing bits and pieces.

My heart is bleeding now.
It’s barely hanging on by a thread.
I don’t know how much more it can take!

I feel very conflicted over the ending, part of me feels like it was taken too far while another part feels like it’s completely possible with how twisted XYZ is.

Siobhan Davis delivered a punch to the gut–okay to the heart–and even though I know the conclusion to this story is going to hurt, I’m desperate for it!

Twisted Betrayal is the second installment in my much anticipated reads of this year. After that insane cliffhanger of the first book, Twisted Betrayal continues where the story left off.

While trying to be vague, I'd say that after the shocking revelations, I thought that was it. I was so wrong. Secrets upon secrets, on top of betrayals are still part of this book. I was screaming my head off because of some plot twists that I never saw coming. I keep on forgetting that in this world, TRUST NO ONE is the name of the game and that you only have yourself to rely on. Thank God, Abby is one fierce woman or she would have been a pawn and a doormat long before.

I couldn't stop reading as I keep flipping the pages to know more. I was biting my nails as I was kept on the edge of my seat, dreading the feeling of foreboding. I just cant. I'm totally mind fucked, LOL. And please, can we do something about Abby's father? I swear I have never loathed a fictional character more than I did this one.

I'm DYING to read the next one because that ending? It SLAYED me. GAH!!! WTF!!! I don't know how I will cope by waiting until the last book comes out. Freaking loved this!!!

MIND F@$&!? BLOWN!
Speechless, absolutely speechless is how Siobhan Davis left me after book two. I can’t even...That lady is an evil genius and I’m in utter shock at the crazy twisted events of book two. Book one left your jaw on the floor and book two ensured a muzzle will be needed to keep it together for this one! Michael is truly the devil incarnate, although for him that’s probably a compliment. With every page turn I grew more anxious, a new revelation, new secret, new alliance. Everyone is suspect and no one is safe to trust. My heart is racing and I can’t even imagine what twistedness is planned for book three.
