I really enjoyed this book. It was informative and accessible and I really feel like I learned a lot about myself and my attachment style and how to work with it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in attachment or platonic intimacy.

This is exactly the kind of book I was looking for when I first learned about attachment theory: how to apply attachment theory to platonic friendships. I will likely be returning to this periodically.
Moderate: Toxic relationship, Toxic friendship, and Alcohol
Minor: Cancer, Child abuse, Domestic abuse, Homophobia, Mental illness, Racism, Death of parent, Abandonment, and Pandemic/Epidemic

I didn't find it to be terribly data-driven, and the advice was mostly unhelpful platitudes we've all heard before. The soft sciences are filled with these pet theories which are "proven" by poorly-designed and underpowered studies, and most of the references provided here were perfect examples.
Minor: Racism
