This was a fairly interesting whodunit. The story opens with Mia Sinclair-Kroner covered in blood stumbling away from her home and what we soon discover is the scene of her attempted murder. Unfortunately, she has amnesia from the attack and has little memory of her previous life. She slowly begins making connections through film and movie associations. I wish this angle had been played with a bit more because it was quite exciting whenever a key piece of evidence was dropped through a character or actor name-drop. The bulk of the book takes place at the scene of the crime during Mia's "Remembering Party." Mia's friends and sister assemble under one roof to help Mia realize her past. The weekend slowly turns from fun reminiscing to catty back-biting and finger-pointing as Mia's idyllic life slowly begins to fray away. The concept was intriguing and Schultz almost had me a couple of times but I was ultimately satisfied with the conclusion. I'm not sure if I would read this one again since I felt a couple of the characters (mostly Zoey) were a bit irritating to put up with. In the end, justice was served and the events all fell into place, so I'll give it that much.
