Due to extended hours spent inside pressurized metal tubes at 39,000 ft. for the first three days of this week, this book was a quick, enjoyable read.
The plot takes a number of twists and turns which, when considered collectively, enhanced the overall enjoyment of the story. That said, some of the twists were a bit too predictable.
Filler Material: While much of the overall filler served to help establish the story's red herrings, much of the filler was of the "fluff" variety in the early stages of the book.
Detective fiction afficionados who also hold an interest in southern Florida, the Florida Keys, or the Bahamas are likely to find this a great read to add to the waning days of their summer vacations.

I feel like I have just come back from a hell of an adventure in the Keys and the Bahamas thanks to this novel. The character are real, the smells, the craziness, the baddies. A great ride! Can't wait to read another book by this author.
